Helping people navigate the 'screen time' era
A Clinical Psychologist with a passion for sharing knowledge and tackling the issues of a modern-day world
Tania’s vision for herself and those around her has always been to live rich, fulfilling and balanced lives, so it was only natural she was drawn to psychology as a way of connecting with that vision.
Tania is a Brisbane-based Clinical Psychologist with over nine years of experience helping adults and teens with a range of mental health concerns, but has developed particular expertise in addictions, particularly ‘behavioural’ or ‘process’ addictions such as internet and video gaming (‘screen time’ addictions), pornography, gambling, shopping and food.
Tania regularly comments in the media on behavioural addictions, particularly on the issues of technology addiction and screen time. She regularly presents educational seminars on these topics to schools, community groups and other organisations, where she provides information, research and practical strategies. Tania also works part-time in an e-Psychology research team, finding ways to use technology to improve mental health and wellbeing.
Tania regularly speaks to schools, parents and community groups on topics around screen time, internet and gaming addiction and tech use. Learn more here.
